We decided to give these a try because they are a small Canadian company. We have always been a fan of Fee brothers' various flavoured bitters but where we live now it is hard to get anything other than Angostura 's original. We purchased all three flavours of Trav's bitters to give them a shot ( pun intended). Wow, starting just from the first sniff of the original flavour we knew that we were in for a treat. All three are great. The orange bitters in particular bring a refreshing citrus splash with notes of sunshine and spice that have enhanced every drink ( both mocktails and cocktails) that I have tried them in so far. On their own or mixed with Trav's chocolate bitters these are definitely going to impress your tastebuds.

What started as an effort to simply 'Buy Canadian' led to a pleasant surprise. The set of Trav's Bitters purchased online were delivered promptly (and in solid packaging that guaranteed their safety) - the units (Original, Orange and Chocolate) were larger than the average bitter, but more importantly, their potency and flavour were outstanding. Will both recommend and order again.

We loved Travs promo on Facebook it made me laugh out loud. So of course we had to order the three pack, original, orange and chocolate. I really like the packaging they are very nice looking bottles. It arrived in a couple of days. First I made a traditional old fashion with bourbon and for my hubby a whiskey old fashion, we really like the bitters it is full of spicy flavour with a really nice smell. Next I made a rum old fashion using the orange bitters….all I can say is yummmm. We use the chocolate in our espresso martinis. All I can say is try Travs bitters, I want him to be in business for a long time, I don’t want to go ever go back.
